About ABA's Product Review and Endorsement Process
The American Bankers Association (ABA), through its subsidiary Corporation for American Banking (CAB), has endorsed The Hartford's Property & Casualty Insurance Solution for Community Banks.
ABA's Corporation for American Banking, L.L.C. awards the ABA endorsement to products and services that help banks improve profitability, operate more efficiently and compete more effectively. ABA-endorsed programs range from mission-critical insurance, capital management and technology services to income-enhancing financial marketing products.
The ABA is committed to meet their members' needs through thorough product and vendor due diligence. ABA Members benefit from the research that CAB conducts on a wide range of bank solutions.
To earn the ABA endorsement, products are researched and tested by bankers and independent industry experts. A partial list of CAB's stringent criteria includes solutions that:
- Meet stringent quality standards
- Fulfill industry needs
- Provide superior technology functionality
- Are scalable and can adapt to market changes
- Meet banks' compliance and regulatory requirements
- Has management structure and experience that understands needs of financial institutions
CAB utilizes a number of ABA committees to target and prioritize the right products for endorsement, with oversight provided by the CAB Advisory Council of bankers. Those programs that meet a core need within the community bank market may be identified for further consideration. However, only a limited number of products and services as approved by ABA members will undergo CAB's thorough due diligence review.
We are delighted to further demonstrate our commitment to the industry by helping to properly protect Community Banks through our property & casualty insurance solution's endorsement from the American Bankers Association.
